It seems some companies aren’t willing to Play when it comes to giving you your money back.

Eight days ago I put in a request to Play.com to return two items.  I received an email confirming the request and given the nature of the product they need to be collected by a courier.  I’m still waiting.

The items in question are Android tablets.  They’re not cheap so you can understand Play.com’s reluctance to entrust Royal Mail with the delivery.  The issue I have is that Play.com appear to have made no effort to arrange the required courier.

The tablets aren’t as described either.  Play.com listed them as Android 2.2.  The tablet is a customised version of Android 2.1.

I’m now questioning whether Play.com simply wanted rid of these things.  They certainly don’t seem to be Playing fairly on this one.  I’ll keep you up to date with any results.
